CFD Simulations
CFD Simulations (Computational Fluid Dynamics) – are part of mechanics of fluids where numerical methods are applied for the problem-solving. LENAM is highly experienced in this field, thus competent to solve unusual problems such as a propeller spinning by wind. CFD has often been used as a part of combined problems where non-stationary thermal phenomena with material non-linearity occur (e.g. thermally loaded exhaust manifold) or dynamic phenomena in hydraulic system interaction with a mechanical one.
